Marnus Labuschagne has signed a contract extension at Glamorgan.
The Australian batsman had previously agreed a two-year deal, taking in the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
Given the interrupted nature of this summer, however, and Labuschagne's unavailability even in the event of the country game returning in August and September, the terms of the arrangement now include 2021 and 2022.
Labuschagne scored 1,114 County Championship runs in 10 matches for Glamorgan in 2019.
"It's great news and shows that Marnus wants to spend a period of time here, so we're looking forward to having him whenever cricket gets back to normal," said Glamorgan director of cricket Mark Wallace.
"Marnus really enjoyed his time at Glamorgan and saw the benefits that he got out of it as a cricketer, he loved his time in Wales so both he and Glamorgan want it to be a long-term association."
