Sunil Narine has been reported for a suspect bowling action by umpires in the IPL.
Narine was cited following the match between his Kolkata Knight Riders franchise and Kings XI Punjab in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
A league statement read: "The report was made by the on-field umpires according to the IPL's suspected illegal bowling action policy."
Narine, who sits 13th in the T20 Player Index - a ratings system incoporating all elements of short-form cricket based on three-year-peformances, will be placed on a "warning list" and can continue to bowl in the tournament unless he is reported for a second time, at which point he would be suspended pending clearance by the BCCI's suspect bowling action committee.
He returned figures of 2 for 28 on Saturday as KKR won by two runs.
It is not the first time Narine's action has come under heavy scrutiny.
He was reported during the Champions League T20 competition in 2014, again after West Indies' third ODI against Sri Lanka in 2015, during the 2015 IPL and in the 2018 Pakistan Super League.
