England bowler Reece Topley will miss the final match of the Ireland ODI series because of a groin injury.

Topley, who made his return to the national side after a four-year absence on Saturday, has sustained a minor strain and will undergo a scan to determine the extent of the damage.

England do not expect the seamer to be out of action for longer than a fortnight.

Tom Curran is likely to regain his place in the side for the clash with Ireland at Southampton on Tuesday.

Curran took 1 for 37 in the first match of the campaign but was rotated for the second.

England have an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series going into the last game.
